Department of Physics:

Our department was established in the year 2004 by the visionary leader and founder chairman ‘Kalvi Vallal’ Thiru T. Kalasalingam through Kalasalingam and Anand Ammal Educational Trust.

Our major is strength is our well knowledgeable faculties as mentioned below and good infrastructure faculties with state-of- art equipped laboratories.

Every year our students will achieve meritorious ranks and provides result of more than 95% in the MKU exams. Other than academic, we shaped our students to participate in the various intercollegiate meet and extracurricular activities.  In academic year 2019-2020

1. Our students achieved overall championship award conducted by Arul Anandar College in Madurai.
2. Our students got third prize in State level Science Exhibition conducted by Yadava College, Madurai

After completing B.Sc Physics, the students will have opportunity to serve in various job sectors either in campus and in off campus placement opportunities. The students also have a possible chance to opt for higher studies in various specialized and emerging fields in the Physics.
