About the College:

ArulmiguKalasalingam College of Arts and Science blossomed on the education map of Srivilliputtur Taluk in 1998,which is glitter like a beacon of student community in the rural area at Krishnankoil. The college is located among the scenic beauty of the Western Ghats with its gorgeous pillars touching  the sky. The committed visionary and dedicated philanthropist ‘Kalvivallal’ Thiru T. Kalasalingam founded this college. It was the grand vision of the founding father that those who enter this citadel of learning would leave not only as distinguished degree holders but also as men and women of characters. The honorable members of the management, teaching and non-teaching staff have been striving towards that goal.

About the Department: Bachelor of Computer Applications

In our college, BCA department was started in 1999. The mission of the BCA department is to persistently survive for achieving excellence in computing disciplines. Students of BCA will be taught subjects which are related to the technological applications that are required in today’s practical work field. Students who opt for BCA will get skills and information not only about Computer and Information Technology but also in communication, organization and management. One also get to learn programming languages such as Java, C++, HTML, etc. Information about various computer applications and latest developments in IT and communication systems is also provided. It can land one either with a job or a start up business that we always wished or had an eye on.
